Good control, I was needing the band pass feature of the rear channels. Don't know that I believe the output voltage claims, but probably not too far off. Overall, I would buy this again, and over any other new current crossover.There was little to no noticable change when adjusting the low pass freq. cutoff. My sub was audibly outputting freq.Would not recommend as a low-pass sub crossover.Design is different thats why i chosed this xover. I gave 5 stars cause its worth for the price and functionSubs feel lower and hit harder then ever. Speakers even sound louder and everything comes through crystal clearIm just saying nothingFrequency adjustment is pretty rough (the dial turns smooth, just dialing in a specific point is tough) doesn't seem very linear. I needed high frequency high-pass for my tweeters in the doors, I needed a wide midrange bandpass for the 6.5s in the kick panels and the console. I researched a whole bunch of crossovers until I found these. I could go on about how my whole system is configured but suffice it to say these crossovers were PERFECT for my application. UPDATE: I have finally got my system fine tuned. I added noise gates due to some residual noise between tracks from my 20 year old Pioneer DEQ-7600s. Anyway. These crossovers have REALLY allowed me to get my system really dialed in. The bandpass for the mids is set at 1000-4200, and I have the tweets at 4600 up. I had previously tried various passive XOs to bandpass the mids (the Pyramid has only a highpass) but was never happy with the sound. Whether the Boss really has 9V (!!!) out or not I can't say, but I can say that its signal is much stronger than my old XO, so I got to turn the gains down on my amps. And that there is less distortion at high volumes now, and the the unit added no noise to the system that I can hear. I can also say that the XO points work as they are supposed to. Ghetto I know but the sound is much better than the JLs pointed at the trans tunnel could ever hope to do. The four drivers get 17 watts each and sound suprisingly good in this bandwidth. They consist of two cubes slightly twisted so one points at one seat and the other points at the opposite seat. They were free. They play much nicer now that they are crossed higher than the 400 that the Pyramid allowed.Sorry, we failed to record your vote.
