The volume will drop out to just about nothing slowly. A quick little blip on the volume pedal returns it back to normal volume. I may not see it again for months on end. I have two guitars that do push into clipping(at least reading the meter), the worse of the two, my Jackson USA Soloist with a JB will push up to the last two indicators on the meter.
